RAM for RiscPC and A7000 systems

Suitable for fitting in almost all RiscPC and A7000 (and derivitive) machines.

Although Fast Page (FP) ws originally specified for early models most machines will work perfectly with EDO. You should always fit EDO to A7000FE machines like the A7000+, RiscStation and Mico.

The early RiscPC 600 machines were fitted with SIMM sockets which were higher than on more recent machines so mamy modern double sided SIMMs won't fit. In particular this applies to 32 Mb FP and you will need to fit High Clearance (HC). If in doubt check the model number in the centre rear of the motherboard. If this is 0197.000 you need HC, if it's 0197.100 you don't.

There is always the potential for timng problems with RiscPCs. It is never possible to guarantee that RAM will work in any particular machine, especially when fitted with a 586 PC card. We therefore offer a refund (less carriage) if RAM is not satisfactory.
